The dha lwe (Burmese: "long blade"), also rendered as dalwey, mistranscribed in older sources as dalwel) is a Burmese single-edged sword with a gently curved blade that generally widens toward the tip, though not as much as chopper-class dha (known as dha ma). The blade is often decorated or engraved. Generally, there is no hand guard, with at most a small circular flare of the handle (tsuba-like guards being more heavily associated with Thai daab).

Another general term for curved swords in Burmese is dha shay.
